Usagimochi - Kagamimochi easy decoration with mochi 500G

Discover our Kagamimochi ready to assemble and easy to decorate, a Japanese tradition to celebrate the New Year!

It consists of an arrangement of two round mochis of different sizes, one above the other, symbolizing respectively the past and the present, with a bitter orange (daidai) placed at the top.

A ritual object loaded with symbolism to bring luck and prosperity for the new year.



This box contains 10 individually wrapped mochis, made from 100% Japanese glutinous rice.

1. Heat in the grill oven for 3 to 4 minutes, then let it rest for about 2 minutes after cooking.

2. Boil in water, then simmer for 2 minutes over low heat.
